Birds eating berries

Every year the birds come in Feb. are devour all the berries on our pyrocantha bushes. It completes the cycle that runs from flower, to green nub, to red berry, then gone (eaten by the birds) to be replaced by new flowers and the cycle starts again. I can attest that the core of the seed gets deposited on the ground (and on cars, decks and anything else left outside) as it is digested by the birds.
We mostly see cedar waxwing but this year we had a large contingent of robins.
Enjoy the photos. You can also view the images in a larger format on my website.
